This bill states that utilities operating in the state of Minnesota will have to use completely carbon-free sources to deliver electricity throughout the state by 2040. CPAC opposes measures that increase the cost of energy for consumers and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 2, 2023 by a vote of 34-33 and the bill later became law.
