The Lucero amendment to the Hawj amendment to HF 4124 requires organizations that receive grants from specific funds to submit the receipts from their expenditures using those grants to the fiscal agent. CPAC supports efforts to increase government transparency and supported this amendment. The Senate defeated this amendment on May 3, 2024 by a vote of 27-34.
