Jobs and Labor Spending: Handouts for Bureaucrats, Not Workers
2025 - Minnesota Senate
Vote Description

This partisan package dumps millions into state agencies, labor programs, and economic development bureaucracies while offering few real benefits to small businesses or workers. It expands government control, funnels taxpayer dollars into union priorities, and burdens Minnesota employers with more regulations and red tape. CPAC opposes this measure as a reckless spending spree that undermines free enterprise, discourages job creation, and grows government at the expense of taxpayers. The House passed the bill 96-37. The Senate passed the bill 40-27 and it was signed into law.on June 14, 2025.
