Vote Description

This bill lowers the age at which an individual may be issued a concealed carry permit by one year. It also removes a prohibition that prevented permitholders from carrying a concealed firearm into a place of worship. CPAC supports the founders’ belief in the Second Amendment and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on April 17, 2023 by a vote of 105-41 but the bill stalled in the Senate.
