This bill creates refundable tax credits for the sales of tickets for qualifying sporting events. CPAC believes that taxpayers should not be placed on the hook to help subsidize the sporting industry and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 27, 2024 by a vote of 94-50 but the bill did not become law.
