This bill prohibits public institutions of higher education from discriminating against “belief-based” student organizations. CPAC supports efforts to protect First Amendment freedoms at public universities and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on March 7, 2024 by a vote of 100-46 but the bill did not become law.
