Vote Description
This resolution proposes a constitutional amendment that would prohibit ranked choice voting in Missouri. Ranked choice voting is a system of voting wherein the individual taking second place in an election can win an election by receiving the votes of other losing candidates. CPAC opposes ranked choice voting and supported this resolution. The House passed this resolution on May 17, 2024 by a vote of 99-43.
