This bill prevents the governor from requiring that National Guard members receive a vaccine. CPAC opposes vaccine mandates, believes that the decision to get a vaccine should be made as voluntary as possible, and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 17, 2023 by a vote of 24-9 but the bill did not progress in the House.
