Vote Description
This bill creates the Geospatial Advisory Council, the likes of which work with the state toward the implementation and enhancement of its geospatial data infrastructure. CPAC believes that the state government should abstain from interfering in this sector, the likes of which is already heavily perforated by private actors, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 7, 2024 by a vote of 24-8 but the bill did not become law.
