This bill offers a 25% investment rebate to producers that invest at least $50,000 in Mississippi to make at least 2 episodes of a particular TV show. CPAC opposes the usage of taxpayer funds to enrich woke Hollywood producers and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 28, 2023 by a vote of 110-7 and the bill later became law.
