This omnibus tax bill reduces the state income tax from 4% to 3% with the goal of 0% by 2030 while replacing it with an increased sales and gasoline tax, among other provisions. CPAC supports efforts to reduce a tax that penalizes success and supported this bill. The House passed the bill on May 28, 2025 by a vote of 103 to 10 and the bill later became law.
