This bill puts a limit on the tax credits received from investments in broadband equipment. CPAC opposes these subsidies that require broadband users to subsidize it twice, once from paying their own expenses and again for someone else and supported this bill as a step in the right direction. The House passed the bill on March 20, 2025 by a vote of 120-0 and the bill later became law.
