This bill provides an income tax credit for taxpayers who use Mississippi port facilities for cargo exports. CPAC supports spurring investment through tax reductions rather than government subsidies and supported this bill. The House passed the bill on February 1, 2025 by a vote of 114-0 and the bill was later signed into law.
