Vote Description
This bill is a larger version of the House bill (HB 1063) that gives six weeks of parental leave to state employees charged to the taxpayer. CPAC opposes these benefits that some private businesses cannot afford and opposed this bill. The House passed the bill on March 6, 2025 by a vote of 115-0 but the Senate never acted on the House amendments.
