This bill apportions over $20,000,000 to destination marketing organizations. These organizations must then use these funds to engage in tourism marketing activities. CPAC believes that the private sector (not the government) should promote tourism and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 30, 2023 by a vote of 52-0 and the bill later became law.
