This bill provides an income tax credit for taxpayers who use Mississippi port facilities for cargo exports. CPAC supports spurring investment through tax reductions rather than government subsidies and supported this bill. The Senate passed the bill on March 10, 2025 by a vote of 50-0 and the bill later became law.
