This bill clarifies that illegal immigrants may not vote in the state of Montana. This bill was passed in reaction to attempts by certain Democrats to allow illegal immigrants to vote in elections. CPAC believes that only citizens should be permitted to vote and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on February 28, 2023 by a vote of 70-29 and the bill later became law.
