This bill reduces the state’s top marginal income tax rate from 6.5% to 5.9%. CPAC supports appropriate efforts to reduce the tax burden on citizens and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on March 1, 2023 by a vote of 68-30 and the bill later became law.
