This bill appropriates funds to the Montana Arts Council that will be used to award grants to certain “cultural and aesthetic projects.” CPAC does not believe that taxpayers should be forced to fund art and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 21, 2023 by a vote of 33-17 and the bill later became law.
