Vote Description

This bill prohibits cities from adopting ordinances or regulations that prohibit the delivery of a certain type of energy to an individual or that ban the sale of specific appliances. CPAC supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should not support one form of energy over another, and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on June 13, 2023 by a vote of 74-36 and the bill later became law.
