2023 - North Carolina House of Representatives
Vote Description
This bill prohibits public institutions of higher education from requiring that applicants for admission or employment affirm or adopt certain beliefs. CPAC supports measures that protect university students and employees from persecution for their political beliefs and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on May 2, 2023 by a vote of 73-43 but the bill did not progress in the Senate.
