This bill prohibits municipalities from requiring that people receive a COVID-19 vaccination. It also prohibits localities from retaliating against their employees for refusing to get a COVID-19 vaccination. CPAC supports efforts to make the decision to get vaccinated as voluntary as possible and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on April 26, 2023 by a vote of 73-41 but the bill did not progress in the Senate.
