This bill states that the government may not treat religious conduct more restrictively than it treats secular conduct. It also states that the government may not unduly burden the free exercise of religion. CPAC supports efforts to uphold religious freedoms and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 27, 2023 by a vote of 44-3 and the bill later became law.
