This bill makes it illegal to castrate, perform mastectomies on, prescribe puberty blockers to, and remove any non-diseased body part from minors. CPAC supports efforts to protect minors from mutilation and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 3, 2023 by a vote of 37-10 and the bill later became law.
