The early version of this bill prohibits most minors from receiving gender reassignment surgeries or certain forms of hormone therapy. CPAC opposes the mutilation of minors and supported this bill as a step in the right direction. The legislature passed the bill on April 13, 2023 by a vote of 33-15 and the bill later became law.
