HB 281
Making Transparent the Costs of the Green Agenda.
2023 - New Hampshire House of Representatives

Vote Description
This bill removes an outdated provision from public law that requires utilities companies to submit least-cost integrated resource plans to the Public Utilities Commission every two years. It also requires that consumers be notified of the cost that they incur from a utility company’s compliance with renewable energy portfolio standards. CPAC supports the deletion of obsolete regulations and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on March 9, 2023 by a vote of 184-169 and the bill later became law.
