Allowing Local Law Enforcement to Work with ICE

Vote Description
SB 62 requires local jurisdictions to permit police to coordinate with federal immigration enforcement. CPAC believes that police should be empowered to assist ICE, and it supports this bill. The New Hampshire House of Representatives gave its approval for SB 62 in a 200-162 vote on May 8, 2025, and it was subsequently signed into law by Governor Kelly Ayotte.
