Vote Description

HB 71 bars public schools and colleges from being used to house illegal aliens, except in emergency situations lasting no more than 72 hours. CPAC believes that schools should be used for education alone and supports this bill. HB 71 was passed by the New Hampshire Senate in a 16-8 vote on June 26, 2025, and it was signed into law by Governor Kelly Ayotte.
