SB 14 establishes mandatory multi-year prison sentences for those found possessing large quantities of fentanyl. The bill and its subsequent amendments were designed to target fentanyl dealers. CPAC believes that the scourge of fentanyl must be vigorously confronted, and it supports this bill. SB 14 passed the New Hampshire Senate in a 15-8 vote on January 30, 2025, but a finalized version of the bill was not adopted by both chambers before the end of the legislative session.
