This bill requires certain employers that are taking over the work of another employer to retain the services of employees working at certain locations for a particular amount of time. CPAC believes that this provision is ridiculously detrimental to the interests of employers and opposed this bill. The Assembly passed this bill on June 30, 2023 by a vote of 44-33 and the bill later became law.
