This bill requires business with 5 or more employees to extend paid family leave privileges to their employees. CPAC opposes the extension of this type of mandate and opposed this bill. The Assembly passed this bill on December 21, 2023 by a vote of 44-27 but the bill had not become law as of the end of 2023.
