This bill creates a lengthy list of protections and rights that New Jersey’s employers are to accord to temporary laborers. CPAC opposes the expansion of employment mandates beyond those required by federal law and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 2, 2023 by a vote of 21-15 and the bill later became law.
