This bill requires the Commissioner of Public Lands to establish a Renewable Energy Office to advance the production and development of renewable energy. CPAC supports all forms of energy, does not believe that the government should support one form of energy over another, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on February 17, 2023 by a vote of 48-19 and the bill later became law.
