Vote Description

This bill prohibits insurance plans from imposing cost-sharing requirements on customers for treatments of sexually transmitted diseases. CPAC does not believe that people should be forced to subsidize other people’s poor sexual decision-making, opposes insurance mandates, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 27, 2023 by a vote of 26-13 and the bill later became law.
