This resolution proposes a measure to voters that would enter Nevada into the National Popular Vote Compact. If voters decide to enter Nevada into this compact, its electoral votes for the presidential election will be apportioned to the winner of the national popular vote. CPAC believes that the candidate that wins the majority number of votes in Nevada should win Nevada’s electoral votes and opposed this resolution. The Assembly passed this resolution on April 17, 2023 by a vote of 27-14.
