Vote Description
This bill prohibits the owners of manufactured home parks from increasing rent by a rate greater than a specific rate annually set by the Department of Business and Industry. CPAC supports property rights, recognizes that rent controls contribute to shortages in housing, and opposed this bill. The Assembly passed this bill on June 3, 2023 by a vote of 28-14 but Governor Lombardo vetoed the bill.
