This bill prohibits medical licensing boards from retaliating against physicians for participating in so-called “gender-affirming care.” The bill also prohibits the government from assisting other states that are conducting investigations related to “gender-affirming care.” CPAC opposes the promotion of transgender ideology and opposed this bill. The Assembly passed this bill on May 25, 2023 by a vote of 28-14 but Governor Lombardo vetoed the bill.
