This bill commits $380,000,000 in tax credits and bond proceeds to the construction of a new baseball stadium in Las Vegas such that the Oakland Athletics may relocate themselves to Nevada. CPAC does not believe that taxpayers should be forced to subsidize wealthy sports teams or leagues and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on June 13, 2023 by a vote of 13-8 and the bill later became law.
