AB 155
Letting Unions Bargain Over Classroom Ratios to Cement Bigger Bureaucracy
2025 - Nevada Senate
Vote Description

This bill expands mandatory subjects of collective bargaining for public employees to include the ratio of pupils per licensed teacher in each classroom, giving unions more leverage to dictate staffing levels and drive up costs instead of empowering parents and local control. CPAC opposes handing additional power to public?sector unions at the expense of taxpayers and school flexibility and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-05-23 by a vote of 16-4. The Governor vetoed this bill.
