This bill establishes the Office of Racial Equity and Social Justice, the likes of which will assist the state in carrying out its racist DEI initiatives. CPAC opposes the expansion of the bureaucracy, opposes the expansion of DEI initiatives, and opposed this bill. The Assembly passed this bill on June 5, 2023 by a vote of 129-16 but the bill never became law.
