This bill requires all health information be transmitted only by written consent and only after a designated necessary purpose is established. CPAC views this this as an unnecessary bureaucratic hurdle in a healthcare system that already has too much bureaucracy, opposed this bill. The assembly passed the bill on January 22, 2025 by a vote of 96-4 but the bill did not receive final approval.
