This bill provides for the establishment of a program designed to provide rebates or new lithium batteries to certain individuals with powered mobility devices. CPAC supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should not support one form of energy over another, and opposed this bill. The Assembly passed this bill on March 6, 2024 by a vote of 97-46 but the bill did not become law.
