This bill expands the list of items that individuals may give to people waiting in line at the polls. CPAC opposes this clear form of election fraud, opposes the buying of votes with material gifts at the polls, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on January 9, 2023 by a vote of 45-15 but the bill never became law.
