This bill prohibits a person from operating a train containing hazardous material unless the train has a crew of two people. CPAC opposes featherbedding, opposes measures that are blatant sops to unions, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 7, 2024 by a vote of 60-1 and the bill later became law.
