Vote Description
This bill prohibits employers from discriminating against people based on weight. CPAC opposes the expansion of anti-discrimination laws in this way, recognizes that they will be used to line the pockets of greedy plaintiff attorneys, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 30, 2024 by a vote of 49-8 but the bill did not become law.
