This bill establishes the reproductive freedom and equity grant program, the likes of which will provide funds to abortion providers and non-profit organizations. CPAC believes abortion is always a human tragedy, believes that taxpayers should not be forced to pay for abortions, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on January 22, 2024 by a vote of 41-20 but the bill did not become law.
