This bill authorizes the board of elections to establish ballot drop off locations. CPAC opposes ballot drop boxes, believes that the government should instead be working to promote election integrity, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on January 8, 2024 by a vote of 41-21 but the bill did not become law.�
