This bill prohibits creating a minimum rent on all mortgages. CPAC believes the issue of a minimum rent to keep the property viable is between private parties and not the government and opposed this bill. The Senate passed the bill on June 13, 2025 by a vote of 39-20 but the bill never received final approval.
