This bill adds to the motor vehicle department anyone seeking Medicaid to those who will be automatically registered to vote unless they object. CPAC opposes further weakening our ballot security laws and opposed this bill. The Senate passed the bill on January 13, 2025 by a vote of 40-21 but the bill was not taken up in the Assembly.
