This bill adds a clause to public law stating that people do not need to purchase firearms liability insurance before owning a firearm. CPAC supports the founders’ belief in the Second Amendment and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 26, 2023 by a vote of 24-7 but the bill failed to progress in the House.
